Photo Point Procedure
Objective:
A photo point is done in order to observe the change which will occur in a certain location over a point of time. This procedure will show how to take a picture at an established photo point.
Materials
Compass
Tape
Meter Stick
GPS
1. Locate. (Point A)The point to take the picture using your GPS and the Lat and Long information found on the photo point print out
2. Have one person stand on (Point A) and use the compass to find the direction of (point B). Degrees are found under compass heading.
3. Once direction is determined have one person take the measuring tape and measure from (Point B) until you reach the written distance between the two points.
4. Place the camera on the yard stick facing the correct compass direction towards (point B)
5. Take the picture.
6. Check picture and put supplies away.
7. Be sure photo point paper has been completed
